ABOUT US

Lulu Shafrir

A practitioner of Chinese and Japanese medicine since 2019, I am the owner of a private clinic in Tel Aviv and also practice at Meir Hospital in the Gastroenterology Department. During my studies, I dreamed of coming to Taiwan to complete a hospital internship, but the COVID-19 pandemic changed my plans. Two years later, I decided to travel independently and visit various clinics throughout Taiwan.

And that’s where it happened—I fell in love. With the food, the people, the landscapes, and, most of all, with the living, breathing tradition of Chinese medicine found everywhere. Even then, I knew that my story with Taiwan was only just beginning. I wanted to continue learning and immersing myself in this experience, and to allow other practitioners to experience it as well—to taste, see, hear, and deepen their knowledge and inspiration at the very heart of Chinese medicine.

I personally accompany the delegation and ensure a rich balance of professional content alongside a vibrant, inspiring, and unforgettable experience.

Ziv Adam

Founder and Director of Operations of the program, with extensive experience in organizing and executing academic and business missions around the world, especially internships in the East Asian region. I lived in Hong Kong and China for over three years, speak fluent Mandarin and have visited Taiwan many times - with a deep familiarity with Chinese culture in all its various facets. As part of the mission role, I am responsible for building the schedule, all logistical aspects, coordination, payment management and relationships with local partners, as well as planning the trips and the cultural envelope - in order to ensure a professional, accurate and valuable experience for all participants.
